How to join IRC?

You can use a web interface or a specific IRC desktop software.

Using web interface

1. Go to http://webchat.freenode.net/
2. Choose a Nickname for yourself.
3. Next to Channels write '#gdg-cairo' without quotes.
4. Resolve the captcha and then press Connect.
5. Wait till you find yourself connected inside #gdg-cairo room.

Using desktop software

There are many IRC software like xchat, and there are extensions/plugins for browsers too.
