Meeting#4: Coding Tutorial & Workshop

Attendance is FREE, no registration required, first come first served, until room full capacity is reached, so share with friends and tell everybody!
Feel free to use the banner above in any other location (groups, mailing lists, ...etc) or print it to announce about the event in your collage or organization. If you did so, then kindly send us a picture of it to publish it in the meeting gallery =)

What do participants need to know?:
  • Mentors and teachers need basic technical knowledge and awareness about Google development technologies.
  • Participants need basic web development knowledge (HTML) - and have completed the first year class at any university (basic HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
  • Must be able to create a web-page and be able to make a program in any language.
  • They do NOT need to be a student at Cairo University. Professional developers are welcome.

What do participants need to bring/install?:

  • Mentors and teachers may need laptop only, other requirements are for who wants to follow the workshop.
  • Laptop (and electricity joint if possible).
  • Web browser (USB Modem or any other web connectivity is encouraged but not required).
  • Text editor (Windows users can use notepad++) or any preferred IDE.
  • Google App Engine SDK for Python installed.
